Garden Goodies!!!

We have a couple of cherry tomato plants in pots... Growing, blooming and mass production! :-)
Exciting!!!

Rain Rain Go Away!!!

We've had some pretty massive storms round these parts yesterday and today... yesterday wasn't terrible, just some basic rain, but today... wow! It started off a beautiful sunshiny day with minimal clouds overhead... only fluffy puffy ones...

 Then this beautiful sky, quickly turned into this menacing wild crazy weather... soft rain at first, which then changed to wild, whipping winds overturning plants and giving a torrential downpour! I was running throughout the house closing windows, and still rain had gotten in and soaked my son's bed... windowsills had standing water on them, carpets were wet.... annnddd........

Just as quickly, it blew away.

Two more came shortly thereafter, but nothing like the first one. 

I'm surprised we didn't have more damage.

I'm very thankful we didn't.

Now, in the peace of the evening, the frogs are croaking and all is still on the homestead. 

Life is good.

Many Changes in the Past Few Months...

     Yea, there's been quite a bit to catch up on around these parts! I'm are working every day, and trying to get things situated around our house, like planting flowers, rearranging a few things, and of course, riding the bikes when I get the chance...

     I have returned to school to work on my Master's degree, and tend to household chores and the like. Good for me!

    Headed out on the motorcycle this  past weekend for a nice, soothing long ride! It was great!  It gives me a chance to relax and regroup.
